"That is really cool Bill. Never caught a koi, but I could see them being just as tricky to catch as carp. Awesome job!"

Quick Glenn Update

Hi All,For those of you who may not know, Glenn has been experiencing major issues with his back for quite a while. Friday he is going to have injections in his spine to reduce the pain. As I am sure you can imagine, he has been right mighty cranky since he has been unable to fish for quite awhile. The first question he said he is going to ask the doctor on Friday is when can he start fishing again! We will be sure to keep you posted.AndreaSee More

They had a small cabin fever day just this weekend. It was really focused more on organizations this year (like TU), rather than the usually larger event.

Maybe the scaled down the event due to the economy. Too bad. It was always a lot of fun.

TU is asking us for lectures this spring and summer. For now we are just hibernating like everyone else, waiting to get back out there. ;-)

Keep in touch here through the winter especially! Helps keep all of us sane in the off-season.

Bass on a flyrod, thatis awsome. I'd like to see more woman doing this. The flyrod is my choice for bass and bluegill. Have fun and catch lots of fish.

Yeah, small rods are awsome. TFO makes a real nice 6 foot 1wt rod and it is priced right. I know because whenever I go to Cabelas I drool over it. I am saving my pennies for when I can justify the purchase.

I have casted it ,but have not fished with one. It is real smooth with asoft touch, great for up to forty feet but after that it gets hairy. It fits my Gill fishing needs very well.

Thanks Andrea. I live about ten minutes from an excellent bass lake in VA -- Mountain Run Lake - gratefully! It is also full of crappie, sunfish and bluegill. I've been running out there every chance I get!
Great site!
