How's everyone's season going?

If it stops raining, I will have a good one. the rain changes what the fish do & when they feed.

Yeah, we've been under water over here too. School is wrapping up, so once it is over, hopefully this weather will change.

It's been an interseting season so far, patterns way different from last year. I've had very little success with topwater patterns, grreat success with baitfish patterns such a s Puglisi baitfish.

Haven't had much luck on topwater yet either. Have noticed since last weekend when I was out that the bulls are finally leaving the bed and bass and BG are hitting on nymphs and woolys. I think John said he was hitting a couple of times on a popper, but I don't remember 100%. So John if you read this, chime on in!

Top water action seems to be picking up a bit. Caught several bass and BGs on mostly black and some yellow poppers.

Went fishing yesterday and same pattern. Puglisi caught me several bass and crappie.




I tried poppers to no avail.
